COURSES :- (M.Sc Part-I)

Applied Mathematics
This course enables the students to develop the basic mathematical skillsand to apply mathematical methods to engineering problems, realize that mathematics play a key role in system development on relatively few basic concepts and involving powerful unifying principles. Generally, the students are trained in various transforms, complex variables, Fourier transform, Laplace transform, Z-transform, linear functions of dimensions and some special function. Some numerical analysis is done on computer.
 Analog Electronics

To familiarise the students with construction, Function and applications of all types of Electronic Components and devices. To make them able to apply Laws and theorems related to circuit analysis. To understand design, and practically implement different types of communications and industry related complex circuits.

. Digital Logic Design & Microprocessor

It deals with the basic Digital Concepts of Digital Electronics & make the students familiar with the basic building blocks of Digital Electronics and logic design. Gradually enhances their knowledge of the design of Complex digital systems (I.C). The study introduces the students to an introduction to the Microprocessor Architecture & knowledge of different families of Microprocessors.

A. Solid State Electronics

In studying Solid State Electronic devices we are interested with crystal structure behavior of solids, the transport of charge through a metal or semiconductor and band theory. The electrical properties of the semiconductors junction physics and properties designed techniques of BJT, and FET fabrications and logic gates. These are the basics for understanding of Electronic properties of semiconductors device, and their fabrications.

B. Electromagnetic Theory

This course is designed to teach the field theory and its application in communication electronics. The course starts with electronic and magnetic field sources and its nature, Maxwell’s Equations, Wave Equation and Radiations.

A.Computer Language (C++)

The purpose of this course is to enable the student to write programs for computer and other control mechanism. They are taught how to design hardware problem and then how to write software to control that hardware projects. Also they are taught interfacing techniques in order to make them expert in computer application.

Net Working

The course objective is to introduce students with the new media of information. This course covers Installation, Configuration and Management to LAN/WAN and Internet. At the end, every student is capable of establishing personal network as trouble shooter for different server problems.

Electronics Communication

The purpose of this course is to give basic knowledge to the students about different techniques of Communication through wire or wireless. In this subject students are taught different modulation/demodulation techniques. Problems associated with Wireless Communication and how these problems can be minimized are also studied.

Control System & Information Theory

Laser

The subject LASER due to its industrial applications getting much importance in the research area was introduced. It provides better continuity in the area of LASER optical properties, interaction of LASER with materials. It also covers the area of solid-state laser, gas laser, liquid laser and semiconductor laser and its practical importance.

Fiber Optics

This subject covers basic principles of optical communication, and different techniques of optical communication , comparison of optical communication with other techniques of wireless and with wire communication. Moreover students are taught different techniques of coupling and splicing. They are also taught the different types of fibers and different light sources.

Industrial Electronics & Soft Ware Engineering

To make the students familiar with different types of Sensors and transducers and their applications in industries. To enable them to design different types of industrial control circuits and its practical implementation. And finally to make them expert of different machines, like PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and CNS machines and different types of Computer Controlled machines through sensors and interfacing

Microprocessor & Micro Controller Interfacing

Digital Logic Design and Microprocessor. The objective of this course is to practically implement analog and digital concept and develop integrated solutions. The emphasis is on the applied and alternative solutions based on Microprocessors & Micro controller Architecture and Interfacing capabilities

Project:

It is the student’s own creative work and application of knowledge where as an actual development, the students can write thesis on the designs and systems developed by them.
