Seminar Library :

The department’s Library is equipped with well over 4000 latest books in almost all important branches of mathematics, including some back volumes of International Mathematical Journals. A full time Assistant Librarian is always available to assist the staff and students in finding their desired books and journals etc.

Digital Library : 

An essential part of teaching and research is the availability of scientific literature. However, most of the scientists working in the developing countries are faced with the difficulty of not having an easy access to the latest literature available in their respective fields. To overcome this difficulty the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has very generously subscribed the most up-to-date journals in the field. The staff and students in the department can now have an easy access to these journals by their finger tips using the Digital Library facility extended by HEC under its National Digital Library Programme. 

Computing /Internet Facilities : 

The department possesses its own computing as well as internet facilities which can cater to some extent the needs of students, research scholars and faculty members engaged in research. However, in view of the growing students population, a PC-1 of Rs. 40 Million has already been submitted to the university for construction of a block and strengthening of the Department of Mathematics and a proposal worth of Rs. 13 Million for procurement of equipment. The department will soon have one of the biggest computing laboratory housing about 150 PCs as both the proposals are receiving the very best attention of the authority.
