The course consists of classical prose of the eminent writers of the Persian. Along with introducing the prose of different periods, the course aims at imparting the knowledge of Islamic moral values.
Classical Poetry (S. Ghayour Hussain)
The rich Literature of Persian has great names in poetry such as Hafiz Saadi, Khiyam whose works have been translated in many languages of the world. The course includes parts of the poetic works of some of the eminent poets.
Iqbaliyat (Dr. Ghulam Nasir)
The course is aimed at understanding the message of the national poet Allama Iqbal through his poetry.
Grammar (Dr. Shafqat Jehan)
This course consists of grammar as the foundation for the building of Persian language.
History of Persian literature of the subcontiment (Dr. Nusrat Jehan)
Poets and Writers of the subcontinent have great contribution in Persian literature. The course is a study of the works of these great poets and writers.

Drama is part of the literary study. The course focuses on the study of Persian drama.
Essay and Translation.(Dr. Shafqat Jehan)
Translation and essay writing techniques are studied which aim at preparing /training the students for article writing and research project.
Islmaic Culture & Civilization(Prof. Dr. Ghulam Nasir)
Fundamental elements of the Islamic Culture, life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) & important topics from Islamic point of view are discussed in the course.
