Major components of this course are advanced vector analysis, Complex variables, Fourier series, Special functions, Matrices, Calculus of variation. The course produces training for the mathematical background of a physical process.
Electromagnetic Theory (Mr. Afzal Khan)
Electrostatics, Solution of electrostatic problems, Dialectric media, Electrostatic energy, Magnetic fields of steady currents, Electromagnetic induction, Magnetic properties of matter, Microscopic theory of the magnetic properties of matter, Magnetic theory, Maxwell’s equations and Application of Maxwell’s equations are the main contents of this course. The course develops the background of the students in the mathematical formulation of electro magnetic fields and waves.
lassical Mechanics: (Shahid Naseer )
Mechanics of single and system of particles, Lagrange’s equations for conservative and non-conservative systems, Two body central force system , Kepler’s laws, Hamiltonian, Hamilton’s equations, Lagrange’s and Poison bracket are studied in this course.
