Department of Seerat Studies |

Seerat chairs were created in all the general universities of the country on the directive of the Federal Government during 1975-76. The University of Peshawar created Seerat Chair in 1977-78. The Senate of the University in its meeting on 20 th March, 1982 decided to establish a full-fledged Department of Seerat Studies as an academic unit of the Faculty of Islamic Studies & Arabic. The Department properly became functional in June, 1995. The Department of Seerat Studies presently offers M.Phil Leading to Ph.D/Ph.D programme duly approved by the statutory bodies of the university during 2005-06. The Following are the faculty members.

How to shift in PhD |
The students who will complete Course-Work with 3 CGPA will eligible to appear GRE Subject Test for admission in PhD. Those who will pass that GRE Subject will be admitted in PhD and others will proceed to research work of M.Phil. |

Terminal Degree of |
Those students who will complete M.Phil thesis after the evaluation and successful Viva-Voce will be awarded M.Phil Degree as per University of Peshawar rules regulations. |

Improvement of CGPA |
The students who wish to improve CGPA will be allowed to improve as per HEC/University of Peshawar rules regulations. |
