Islamia Collegiate School is unique in the sense that it has vast lush green playing grounds. The School provides sports facilities to its students during a “zero” period in the morning and to the boarders in the evening. Apart from sports facilities, which include major games, Military Drill, P.T & Gymnastics, the School has a network of different clubs & societies like UNESCO, Science, Environmental and Literary Society. The school also publishes annually a Students’ magazine, “Nida-e-Collegiate”, which provides an opportunity to both the students and the staff members to express their views on different topics and to inculcate creativity and originality in their thinking.

To pay homage to the Founder of the School, Sahibzada Memorial Inter-Schools Urdu Debate is held in December every year. Running Trophy for the Debate has been provided by an old student of the School, Mirza Nasim Anwar Baig.

VI) Parent-Teacher Contact

Report about the studies, examination and behaviour of the boys are sent normally at the end of the academic year and some times during the year. However it is in the interest of the parents to take opportunity of meeting the class teachers and subject teachers in order to discuss matters of mutual interest. Care is taken that these meetings are with prior appointment and do not disturb the programme of the teachers concerned. Parents may take a chance to meet the teachers in their free hours or on the last working days of the month at 11:00 a.m. The annual Parents Day function is an approach in this direction which also gives the parents an opportunity to see the achievements of their sons/wards in various fields.
