The school is said to be a community within a community. The school does not remain isolated from every day life as a collection of classes. It has come to be social community of students, teachers & parents whose main concern is not only to cater for the educational requirements of the student but also for the cultural, emotional and social growth. The emphasis on such activities is to prepare students to be good citizens of Pakistan. For this purpose we have four student’s “Houses” from classes VI to X with mottos and colors of their own. Their names are

Each house is supervised by one senior staff member who is incharge of that house. Competitions are organized on house bases and group bases purely on age group involving all classes in their educational and cultural growth. Field trips and educational excursions form are integral part of education.

A comprehensive program for co-curricular activities is thrashed out every year under the guidance of teachers for students. They participate in different competitions such as painting, drawing, flower arrangement, verse speaking, debates, naat, qirat and extempore speeches, different games, calligraphic competition (English Urdu), Science exhibition, quiz competition, Pakistan Environmental Protection Foundation and Duke of Edinburgh Award.

The school also publishes a magazine called “Roshiny”. This includes pictures of school activities, stories, poems, jokes and article on general knowledge and history of Pakistan.

 The school has a valuable library, which is gradually expanding. The main aim of the library is to inculcate in the students the habit of reading. At present there are 15000 books and sufficient volumes of other journals in the library. The library offers all possible facilities of reading such as scientific magazine; history related books, stories books and other English and Urdu, literature according to the age of students. All bonafide student of the school are eligible to become member of the library. The library books are issued for a specific period. A full time regular and qualified lady Liberian has been appointed to look after the library.

COMPUTER LAB

In order to equip our new generation to meet the challenges of the new millennium and to achieve the goals of national educational policy on computer technology, a state of the art computer lab has been established at the school. The school imparts computer education to the student through this lab. The lab is updated with the most modern facilities, like 15 Pentium 4 computers. The administration is keen to provide the available latest facilities, to explore the talent and potential in female student who will be working as builders of nation for times to come.

SCIENCE LABORATORIES

The school has fully equipped science laborites. The main function of the laboratory is to provide full scientific facilities to the senior classes students in their respective subjects like chemistry, physics and biology. These laboratories are well organized and fully equipped with all necessary apparatus. Students are constantly engaged in practical work through out the year and are prepared for SSC Examination.
