The University of Peshawar has a comprehensive financial system capable enough to meet the government requirements relating to finance/accounts. The Treasury wing of a University of Peshawar perform three(3) Major Functions i.e. Finance Function, Accounting Function, and Auditing Function.

Therefore, it comprises three Sections and each section perform a Specialized Function. Each Section headed by Additional Treasurers and report to the Treasurer. Treasurer is the Administrative & Functional Head of the Department.
