Students from all districts of KPK can apply in any of the Distance Education Programs, provided that they meet the eligibility criteria and are able to attend lectures in respective departments of Peshawar University.

JANUARY 2013 INTAKE
For January 2013 Intake, admissions has started from Jan 14, 2013. The University of Peshawar offers Master programs as well as B.Ed MED through Distance Education for students who wish to enhance the quality of their education, as Distance Education provides opportunity by class schedules on weekends on the campus in the respective departments.

PROGRAMS OFFERED:

The following programs are being offered through Distance Education Mode:
(1) M.A English (2) M.Sc Economics (3) M.A International Relations
(4) M.A Political Science
(5) M.Ed (6) B.Ed

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

(1) For M.A/M.Sc.
B.A in relevant subject with at least 2nd division from any HEC recognized university
(2) For M.Ed
B.Ed with at least 2nd division from HEC recognized university
(3) For B.Ed
B.A/BSc with at least 2nd division from HEC recognized university

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICANTS:

1. Application Processing fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 300/- can be deposited in any UBL Bank, branch in Account # 1486-37100125 Account Title: “Distance Education”

2. Application forms duly filled in all respects along with required documents should be submitted in the Directorate of Distance Education, Administration Block, University of Peshawar OR can be sent by courier to the same address, on or before the due date.

3. Incomplete application forms or received after the due date will not be entertained.

4. The following documents duly attested by a gazetted officer must be submitted with the complete admission form: -
- Photocopy of Degree
- Part II DMC of the qualifying examination
- Domicile
- Computerized national Identity Card (CNIC)
- Three(3) passport size photographs

Note: Tutorials/Classes will commence as per Time Table suggested by the concerned departments.
