Research Projects and Other Grants:

University of Peshawar strongly supports the aim of Higher Education Commission to ensure that all higher education students benefit from a high-quality learning experience fully meeting their needs and the needs of society, as well as increase the capacity of higher education institutions to carry out cutting-edge research in all areas of science and technology as well as Humanities, Social Sciences, Economics and Finance. The basic purpose of existence of University of Peshawar, as mentioned in the Preamble of University of Peshawar Act 1974, is education and research. Being its primary purpose and goal, every effort is made to foster and promote research activities for scholarly achievements of the individual researcher and most importantly for the benefit of the community. Besides providing the judicious and equitable mechanism and environment conducive to research, University of Peshawar allocates a reasonable portion of its budget for financial support in the form of research grants to researchers from the faculty to conduct research projects. Further more, University of Peshawar also facilitates the researchers to procure financial grants from Higher Education Commission.
